Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important to make clear the flashover voltage(FOV) properties between foil conductors on printed wiring board(PWB) against electrostatic discharge(ESD) surge because ESD could cause destruction of the electronics inside element and malfunction of electronic devices. We have investigated flashover voltage between foil conductors on printed wiring board (PWB) against ESD surge. In this paper, we investigated characteristics of FOV between foil conductors which have protrusion and parallel wiring board by using ESD gun governed by the IEC61000-4-2,and examined the characteristics based on three-dimensional electric field calculation.
