Abstract(in English) | In this work we present a fundamental study for a semi-implicit FDTD scheme based on implicit time updating of magnetic field vector components. In this semi-implicit scheme, implicit time updating procedures are appeared only in two magnetic field vector components and the conventional explicit updating procedure can be used to other field vector components. The stability condition of this scheme has no dependency of meshes for a spatial direction. In numerical examples, numerical properties of the scheme are compared with those of conventional FDTD and Leapfrog ADI-FDTD methods. |
