Abstract(in English) In recent years, due to the increase of data traffic, there has been a constant rise in the number of mobile phone base stations. Accordingly, the energy-saving of the base station is requested because of an environmental loading reduction. The power amplifier consumes the majority of the base station power, so it is necessary to make it to highly effective especially. By applying out phasing in a final stage of power amplifier, the drain efficiency of 70% was obtained as an experimental result. The out phasing amplifier is a promising technology for the energy-saving of the transmitter for the mobile phone base station.
