Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Generally, a wave guide, resonator and horn antenna are made of high-conductive metal. There are, however, some problems as followings; the oxidative degradation of the conductivity, its heavy weight in the low frequency range, and so on. Therefore, a low resistance conductive resin made from polyaniline for the substitution of metals. In this report, a transmission and refection characteristics of the resin was measured by using the lens method, and compared with that of metal plate. Moreover the waveguide and horn antenna made of the resin were fabricated and evaluated their characteristics. As a result, the losses of the fabricated components were enough small, and the radiation characteristics of the fabricated antenna agreed with the antenna made of metals. The possibility of the resin for the substitution of metals was con conformed.
