Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, the complex permittivity of the carbon-containing alumina was measured by using the lens method in 18-50 GHz, and the permittivity of the alumina at 90 GHz was estimated by extrapolation. The wave absorber was designed and fabricated at 90 GHz by using the estimated permittivity, and the absorption characteristics were measured in far-field. Moreover, the absorber was applied to a near-field cap-type wave absorber for use as cover of an active device. As a result, the absorption of 20dB in far-field and that of 38dB in near-field were confirmed.
