Abstract(in English) Due to the expected more deployment of millimeter-wave (MMW) technologies, millimeter-wave induced biological and health effects should be carefully assessed. In order to clarify the possible effects of millimeter-wave exposures for long-term, we investigated by using a novel millimeter-wave exposure apparatus in vitro. To consider non-thermal effects, this apparatus solves problems about thermal control and repeatability. Our results suggest that exposure to MMW has no significant effect on cell growth and cell viability in human corneal epithelial cell line (HCE-T).
