Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have studied a development technique of nonvolatile reconfigurable device MPLD using the phase change memory. The development cost of the device increases from the necessity of developing both at the same time, electronic circuits of phase change memory and the phase change material itself. To decrease the development cost, we enable to form the phase change material layer after manufacturing the LSI. In addition, to prevent redesigning of the LSI circuit according to the difference of phase change material, we designed the LSI circuit which enables to operate adaptively with different types of phase change material by controlling external bias voltages of the LSI circuit. In this paper, we present a non-volatile MPLD that designed by above method, and the operation of the prototype chip was verified by f testing the fabricated chips.
