Abstract(in English) TV White Space (TVWS) is expected to be widely used to realize efficient frequency utilization. When utilizing TVWS, secondary users (SU) must guarantee that they will not cause any harmful interference to primary users in the TV band, such as TV broadcasting systems. In order to accurately estimate the interference area, propagation channel model for the SU is required. The conventional propagation channel model in UHF band was created under assumptions of high base station antenna height of tens of meters and long propagation distances ranging from a few kilometers to several tens of kilometers. Therefore, it does not match the operating conditions of SU in TVWS, where both antenna height and propagation distance are smaller. In this work, we conduct indoor-outdoor channel measurements using low height antenna and compare the results with the conventional channel model. As a result, we found that the measurement results under LOS and NLOS are consistent with the ITU-R P.1411 model and the extended Okumura-Hata model respectively.
