Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, resources are found in the seabed around Japan, and wireless communication is requested in the sea. Currently, sound wave is mainly used underwater wireless communication, however propagation velocity is slow. Therefore, we evaluate performance on radio communications. In this paper, we consider communication using radio waves in the sea, and simulate the communication performance using magnetic loop antenna and direct sequence spread spectrum. In the sea, direct wave is not interfered of diffraction, reflection and other communication signal, because attenuation of electromagnetic wave is large. Accordingly the thermal noise and direct wave are considered, and communication distance, SNR, and the channel capacity are derived.
