Abstract(in English) Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) techniques are promising to increase the data throughput. Especially multiuser (MU) MIMO transmission increases the spectrum efficiency while the user stations (STA) have a small number of antennas. However, the CSI corresponding to all the STAs is required to conduct the MU-MIMO transmissions. We propose MU-MIMO transmission which does not require the CSI of the low SNR. The proposed method calculate the transmission weight based on successive optimization (SO) algorithm, and transmits signals to two STAs (close STA and distant STA) which correspond to high and low SNRs. The transmission weight for the distant STA was calculated so as to nullify the close STA and the transmission power for the close STA was reduced to mitigate the inter-user interference at the distant STA. Thus, the AP does not use the channel state information for the distant STA. The transmission performance of the proposed method are compared with those provided by the multiuser MIMO transmissions based on zero forcing (ZF) and block diagonalization (BD) algorithms.
