Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Currently only qualitative information or statistical information is available for planning digital infrastructure including IT infrastructure and smart grid. Smart planning of digital infrastructure is essential to address problems such as digital divide problem or the energy problem. We propose a method to provide quantitative information for the planning of digital infrastructure, by adopting techniques from Landscape Ecology. We also provide an example simulation for planning smart grid using a mosaic map from the landscape ecology.
