Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There are approximately 300,000 visually impaired people in Japan. And over half of them have acquired visual disabilities. They need to acquire how to operate a computer for rehabilitation into society. They learn how to operate a computer at the independent living support center. However, there aren't enough independent living support centers and instructors. By the way, the first step to learning how to operate a computer is touch-typing. It is possible to learn touch-typing at home study. However, the person who learns touch-typing at home study needs some feedback about learning outcomes for motivation to learn it. And so, we developed a touch-typing software for people with acquired visual disabilities. The software have the learning support function for the home study.
