Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Server virtualization technology achieves".Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)" model services. Users can utilize server resources of IaaS cloud services without computer hardware. Thus, many users deploy virtual resources on IaaS cloud. Nowadays, the demands of controlling networks in the IaaS clouds are increasing. Network functions such as NAT and Firewall are required to construct services regardless of physical or virtual environment. However, it is not feasible that IaaS cloud operators construct and operate all of user's networks for each user. In this paper, we propose an operational model to construct the network of each individual user flexibly using virtual router and OpenFlow. Furthermore, the virtual network on IaaS cloud for each user can be constructed and deployed dynamically by Software Defined Network methods. We deployed our proposed model to show net that was held on Interop Tokyo 2013 and proved that our method could achieve the dynamic network on IaaS cloud and reduce the costs of IaaS cloud operators.
