Abstract(in English) | We demonstrated radio-over-fiber transmission with optical power supply using a double-clad fiber (DCF). We successfully achieved the high transmission performance with 4 Watt (W) of high power feeding light in the downlink and uplink transmissions, using a 100 m single DCF. The total supplied electrical power was approximately 400 mW, which will be possible to operate a conventional wireless LAN base station without additional electrical power supply. |
