Abstract(in English) We demonstrated waveform conversions by using of cross-Gain Modulation of semiconductor optical amplifier. The RZ-DPSK input signal to the semiconductor optical amplifier acts as the pump for the conversion of the NRZ-DPSK input signal to another RZ-DPSK output. The conversion performance is compared with the conversion scheme of NRZ-OOK to RZ-OOK signal.
