RZ-OOK to RZ-DPSK Format Conversion With All-Optical Clock Regeneration

Abstract(in English) We demonstrated RZ-OOK to RZ-DPSK format conversion with all-optical clock regeneration, which does not require a conventional clock recovery circuit and optical pulse source. This scheme successfully achieved error-free operation. In comparison with a conventional scheme, the obtained power penalty was less than 2 dB.
