Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In music production, it is known that the sound quality can be controlled by passing through musical outboard equipments. However, quantitative survey for acoustical and perceptual effects of the equipments has not been sufficient. To investigate relationship between the acoustical characteristics of the equipments and audio listening, we thus measured the frequency response of two musical outboard equipments. We then made music signals convoluted the acoustical characteristics of one of those equipments. Using the measured music signals, we examined perceptual effects of the acoustical characteristics of that by a semantic differential method. The result showed that the acoustical characteristics of the musical outboard equipment possibly influence on listening music but its influence is small.
