Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The anatomical landmarks are defined at local structures with salient features such as projections on bones or bifurcations of blood vessels, and play key roles in computational understanding of medical images. However, there exist uncertainty on landmark point definition due to local similarity of surrounding appearance. We have been working on the quantification of landmark uncertainty and validated with clinical data sets. In this study, we report on the experimental results for comparison of landmark uncertainty their detectability.
