Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this paper is to analyze the wing shapes for Mars exploration aircraft by using the shape space method based on the higher-rank of self-organizing map (SOM). Wing shape designing is a shape optimization problem with multi-objective functions. Thus it is necessary to obtain Pareto-optimal set. By applying the shape space method, we obtained Pareto shape space of the wings as well as Pareto manifold in the multi-dimensional objective function space. We also introduced metric learning to SOM, so that the distances in the shape space and in the objective function space become consistent.
