Abstract(in English) | The team characteristics are visualized as innovation diagrams in terms of discourse analysis based on reporting articles and interview with the producer of training courses. The practical training courses for human resource development were held over six months beyond individual corporate frameworks. Thirty-five teams around Japan participated in the training courses, and four teams showed successful results. By applying the visualization method to the activities of four teams, two types of innovation processes can be successfully revealed: "improvement cycle" as a representative of sustaining innovation, and "paradigm disruptive innovation" which is one of non-sustaining innovations. The characteristics of four teams are plotted onto the space spanned by two characteristic axes: "deduction-induction" axis representing the spectrum between deduction-dominance type and induction-dominance type, and "'improvement cycle'-'paradigm disruptive" axis representing the spectrum between paradigm disruptive type and improvement cycle type. This visualization method suggests a possible beneficial effect of formative evaluation. |
