Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recent advancement in wireless communications and electronics as well as penetration of wireless devices has enabled the development of multi-hop wireless networks, called wireless mesh networks or wireless sensor networks. And there have been numerous proposals on applications by applying on the wireless sensor network technology, such as ecosystem on a house or a building, environmental monitoring for temperature and/or humidity, and so on. In this paper, we discuss about data collection scheme on a large-scale wireless sensor network from a viewpoint of forwarding packets to the sink node. That is, in order to mitigate collusion of packets and/or buffer overflow on the wireless sensor network, it proposes a process for selecting a data collection scheme, either a centralized transmission control scheme or an autonomous decentralized scheme, based on input parameters on network design.
