Prototype Testing of Panel for Power Generator and Microwave Transmitter used in Space Solar Power Systems

Abstract(in English) We study the panel for power generator and microwave transmitter which mainly constitute the microwave type space solar power systems (SSPS). We prototyped and tested the sub array of the panel for the power generator and the microwave transmitter that solar battery cells were implemented on the panel of one side, and patch antennas were implemented on the other side of panel, and evaluated the total power efficiency of 8.1%. In this paper, we describe about the higher efficient of the amplifier of microwave transmitter and reducing energy consumption of the sub array to achieve the higher total power efficiency of the sub array of the panel for the power generator and the microwave transmitter.
