Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are developing a high speed method for generating an echo data frame, in which the fast Fourier's transform (FFT) is used. For an arbitrary orthogonal coordinate system, the method permits the generation of such an echo data frame without performing any approximation. Such advantageous properties of the method are clarified through the comparison with other methods developed by Busse and Jian-yu. In this report, the method is refined to increase the calculation speed by using the fast Fourier's transform developed by Busse without losing such advantageous properties. The feasibility and accuracy are confirmed through the simulations on steering of a plane wave. Similarly to our previous methods, the refined method permits to yield an echo data frame obtainable through the various scanning with other beams (e.g., sector, radial, fan etc.) by performing the superposition of small number of steered plane waves and their proper apodizations etc.
