Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, the demand for image processing has been growing steadily with the wide use of digital imaging devices such as smart phones and camcorders. In the case of image processing for video data, since the amount of data per unit time is relatively large, it is implemented in hardware instead of software especially when real-time processing is required. This paper provides an overview of image processing IP core design using a development case of Retinex-based adaptive image enhancement IP core.
