Watermarking Method using QR Decomposition for JPEG 2000 Images

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a novel watermarking method using wavelet transform and QR decomposition. While the conventional method embeds information bits into SVD decomposed discrete wavelet coefficients, the proposed method embeds them into QR decomposed discrete wavelet coefficients. Therefore, the proposed method is higher robustness than a wavelet based watermarking method and lower complexity than a watermarking method using singular value decomposition. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
