Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A 2GHz microwave filter with a large attenuation in the frequency ranges from 1.4 to 1.6 GHz and from 2.4 to 2.6 GHz were designed and fabricated. Nine hair-pin resonators of microstrip structure were adopted for the resonator, and the in-band-ripple was set to 0.4dB. Although large attenuation was obtained in the circuit simulation, the amount of attenuation was degraded greatly in the electromagnetic-field analysis due to the influence of direct-coupling between input and output terminals by radiation. In order to prevent this undesired coupling, a shielding-case jig was designed to keep large attenuation of the filter.
