Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The importance of continued operation of network system has been increasing, large-scale disaster recovery and business continuity planning is required also in research institutions such as universities. We are advancing the establishment of the wide-area distributed storage, which interconnected computing resources in universities and research institutes. It is possible to access the same data from multiple sites by utilizing this wide-area distributed storage, so we can continue a service at another site by a live migration. In this paper, we report an experiment of long distance live migration using the wide-area distributed storage, discuss the effectiveness of this system and future issues.
