Abstract(in English) This research aimed to improving the performance of the municipal disaster management radio systems. Concretely, speech intelligibility tests were performed at outdoor and indoor conditions to investigate the effect of long-path echoes to speech understanding. Also, examined the methods possible to robustly convey disaster information even if the speech sound is presented at long-path echo condition. Furthermore, examined various factors required to develop the signal sound for transmitting information at long-path echo condition and have chosen a few good candidate sign sounds.
