Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed a system for children who have difficulty correctly pronouncing words due to dysarthria or hearing disorders to practice their pronunciation. The system consists of software for pronunciation evaluation and personal registration. The system allows each exercise to be individually tailored to each child's pronunciation needs. While children are playing a game with speech input, they are encouraged to say the words aloud. If instructors want to use the system for increasing opportunities for their students to speak, the system allows ambiguous pronunciation. If they want the system to feed back pronunciation accuracy to the students, the system evaluates the pronunciation closely and indicates a possible score for the target phoneme.
