Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Life-Log system requires intrusive actions or search from huge amount of data. In order to solve this problem, Life-Log system using EEG have been studied. EEG is used in the conventional BCI has been operated by individual subject with averaging brain signals. In our previous work, we focused on population EEG, and the EEG was recorded with multiple subjects simultaneously. The improvement of performance of discriminating P300 occurrence was realized with the population EEG analysis technique. In this paper, we investigate a new technique which enables us to estimate the number of subjects with and without P300 occurrences by population EEG. This estimation technique will be applied to real-time and verbose meta-data indexing in Life-Log application with population subjects.
