Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Negative impedance converters (NICs), which can produce negative capacitances or negative inductances, are quite attractive for their potential for developing a new type of circuits we have never designed so far. Since the circuits with sign-inversed reactances do not meet the Foster theorem, we call them "Non-Foster circuits" to distinguish them from the conventional passive circuits which meet the Foster theorem. This paper demonstrates accurate circuit analysis technique by using a commercial circuit simulator Ansys Designer and a full-wave EM simulator Ansys HFSS. Then, a super narrow-band band elimination filter is designed by introducing a NIC circuit.
