Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The multilatelation (MLAT) is an surveillance system for aircrafts moving along an airport surface. The performance of MLAT is degraded by multipath caused by the terminal building, boarding bridge and so on. Electronic Navigation Research Institute (ENRI) is being developed an enhanced MLAT which has better interference immunity in multipath environment than the conventional MLAT. In order to improve the system performance, the radio over fiber (RoF) is utilized in the new MLAT. In this paper, we show evaluation results experimentally obtained by prototype equipments and discuss the system performance of the new type of MLAT.
