Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) OTA(Over-the-Air) measurement, which generates multipath-rich propagation environment around a DUT(Device Under Test) is an effective method for evaluating a MIMO communication terminal in a real communication environment. Previously, we proposed a simplified configuration of fading-emulator-type method called "antenna-branch-controlled type" and developed a simplified fading-emulator prototype based on this method. In this report, we describe a MIMO fading emulator with 2-stage measurement scheme implemented into an FPGA and show its basic characteristics. Two application examples are demonstrated for verifying the usefulness.
