Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Weierstrass form is often used as a realization of elliptic curves. In the pairing-based cryptography, many algorithms for calculating pairings perform on this form. On the other hand, alternative forms of elliptic curves exist. These forms sometimes allow for more efficient computation on elliptic curves. In this paper, we improve the Ate-like pairings, which are defined only on Weierstrass form, such that it can be treated on alternative forms. The improvement is basically due to change of elliptic curve on which pairing is defined.
