Abstract(in English) Multi-core fiber is of great interest as a candidate of future expanding of transmission capacity per fiber. High-dense core packing and low inter-core crosstalk characteristic are required to realize the high transmission capacity in a multi-core fiber. In this paper, we report the importance of inter-core crosstalk and core arrangement for multi-core fiber. In addition, we present the designs and measurements of multi-core fiber with high density of cores and low inter-core crosstalk.
