Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A low-power CMOS EEG Sensor IC with a wireless transmitter has been developed using 0.13 um CMOS process. The ASIC chip is expected to realize a non-invasion and non-restraint EEG sensor's application, targeted to a low power and small size. It is included on sensor part for a sensor's amplifier using chopper-type gain stage, 12 bit SAR-ADC, and IIR filter. As for a wireless transmitter part, including I/Q 12 bit DACs, passive-type upconversion-mixer, I/Q VCO, and PA block. The transmitter's topology uses IEEE 802.15.4 standard with a 2.4 GHz band.
