Abstract(in English) | The authors have been proposed the failure rate estimation method considering the change in the number of equipments for telecommunication networks. This method applies the first-order differentiation of cumulative failures and the number of equipments. Therefore, the calculation has the potential of dependence of the analyze environment. In this article, the authors propose a improving method of the failure rate estimation. This method is characterized by disuse of differentiation, and the result of calculation is equivalent to that of established method. Moreover, the example of verification using actual outage data is also shown. |
