Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Negative group delay characteristics can be used to improve signal-integrity performance such as an equalizer for compensation of the group delay of systems. This paper newly proposed the embedded Folded-Stepped Impedance Resonator (F-SIR) structure with open-stub, in order to establish a method for designing and improving negative group delay and slope characteristics. Firstly, the group delay characteristics of F-SIR driven by differential-mode are discussed experimentally and numerical modeling. Secondly, effect of structural parameters (distance between F-SIR and open-stub, resonator length and width of open-stub) of F-SIR on negative group delay characteristics is discussed. Finally, its validity of the proposed structure was demonstrated experimentally and numerically.
