Abstract(in English) A simple self-homodyne detection for optical phase modulated signal using a quadrature-phase-modulated and polarization-multiplexed pilot carrier is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. A receiver for the proposed scheme is simple enough just including a polarization controller, a polarization beam splitter and a photo detector. Experimentally obtained eye-diagrams and constellation maps shows that in-phase and quadrature phase components can be detected with the simple receiver configuration.
