Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a multidimensional channel allocation algorithm for earth stations that use novel transmission techniques: spectrum division/suppression transmission and poly-polarization multiplexing transmission. The former technique enables a transmission spectrum bandwidth to be divided and partially deleted in the frequency domain control. The later technique enables to use a multiplex spectrum with three or more polarization axes in the polarization domain control. The proposed algorithm determines transmission parameters of each earth station so as to give the balance between the bandwidth and power usage of satellite transponder. Therefore, it makes very high use of total bandwidth and total power of an assumed SATCOM system. The simulation result showed the proposed algorithm increases system throughput by a maximum of 1.7 times to that of the conventional channel allocation with fixed transmission parameters.
