Design of Two Dimensional Directivity Pattern using Heuristic Method

Abstract(in English) In this paper, a design method of two dimensional directivity pattern of microphone array using IIR filter is proposed. Such a problem can not be solved easily by using a linear programming method because of a difficulty of its linearization. Therefore, a heuristic method is applied alternatively. Then, the nonlinear optimization problems can be solved and mulitiple candidates of an optimal solution can be enumerated quickly. Several design examples are shown to validate a design performance.
