Abstract(in English) In the development of inter-vehicle communication system using 700 MHz band, it is important to know radio wave propagation characteristics at an intersection surrounded by building walls in an urban area. Generally, these propagation characteristics at the intersection can be analyzed by using the ray-tracing method. However, it is complicated to analyze these propagation characteristics considering complex structures, such as internal structures of building walls, by using the ray-tracing method. On the other hand, the FDTD method is effective for the analysis considering such structures. However, the three-dimensional FDTD analysis of radio propagation characteristics at the intersection needs many computation time and memory. In this study, the estimation method of three-dimensional radio propagation characteristics for 700MHz band at the intersection by using two-dimensional FDTD analysis is proposed to overcome the above-mentioned problem.
