Abstract(in English) | We discuss a multi-band radio-over-fiber (RoF) transmission system at a millimeter-wave band, such as 40- and 60-GHz bands, using high-speed optical modulator. Combination of the broadband optical modulator and an optical filter can form a single-sideband optical signal to transmit the millimeter-wave signal over a long optical fiber. Possibility of the millimeter-wave signal transmission without distortions is also discussed with a result of observed spurious-free dynamic range of the RoF system. |
