Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Distributed storage is beginning to be considered utilizing for disaster recovery in the enterprise as well as cloud service operators. However, distributed storage systems send very large data files as entity of content to network. Therefore, in order to replicate to all clusters that are geographically distributed, it takes time proportional to the access line bandwidth. In the event of a disaster, it requires broadband and multiple access lines to minimize data loss caused by replication delay. But it's too expensive to keep broadband access lines with guaranteed-bandwidth which are in proportion to the distance for enterprise companies. Conversely, we should consider controlling various lines which have different quality positively including reasonable best-effort broadband access services using NGN provided by some internet access providers. This paper discusses the way to shorten the time to replicate transactions with dynamic switching platform on broadband access lines including the best-effort interval that combines cluster intelligence, program controllable switch and multi-line throughput status.
