Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we proposed the tenant network analysis method, which analyzes and shows a communication status of a tenant network for cloud datacenters, to test the tenant system easily. In the cloud datacenter, it is difficult to analyze the communication reachability and to confirm the correctness of the access controls in the tenant network because the various address translation methods are used in the tenant network configuration. To solve this problem, the tenant network analysis method compares with payloads of packets collecting from datacenter border switches and virtual switches, and analyzes the reachability of the tenant communication based on the results. It also analyzes the correctness of the access controls by using the reachability results and traffic logs from the network devices such as firewalls. We develop the tenant analysis prototype, in which a reachability analysis and a discard analysis are performed, and show the effectiveness of this method.
