Abstract(in English) To manage smart home services effectively, we have developed a software management platform based on OSGi technology. Multiple service providers can use this platform to provide their network services; they share the home gateway's computing resources. However, computing resource contention in a home gateway causes degraded Quality-of-Service (QoS) for smart home services. To address this issue, we studied methods that manage the resources for OSGi-based software. We report a resource classification and the monitoring / controlling methods for those resources.
