Abstract(in English)	The 13^	IFIP/IEEE International Symposium on Integrated Network Management (IM2013) was held in Ghent, Belgium from May 27^	to 31^, 2013 under the theme "Smart Management in a Virtualized World". The IM is one of the largest international conferences focusing on the network management as well as service management areas. The symposium has been held every odd numbered year since 1989. The IM2013 consisted of interesting sessions such as keynote speeches, technical sessions, panel sessions and so forth, and had discussions on state-of-art researches and technology trends. This paper reports an overview of the symposium including topics and the latest technical trends in the network management area. In addition, we introduce an overview of 5^	International Workshop on Management of the Future Internet (ManFI) which was held in conjunction with the IM2013.
