Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Supply chain visibility system with barcodes and RFID enables us to understand and control the location and disposition of "Things". Although the function of tracking and tracing things along their supply chain is universally beneficial to various applications and services, the ID in applications is usually tightly coupled with the ID in the supply chain visibility system, which makes it difficult to establish a supply chain visibility system serving multipe applications. This paper proposes an ID information platform which tracks and traces "Things" with their unique ID and also can be used by multiple services. The novelty of the proposal resides in the EPC interpreter function between EPC network based supply chain visibility system and EDI systems. The design and implementation of the ID information platform, particularly targetting an argicultural product commerce system which can be used as an disaster relief supplies distribution system, is introduced in this paper.
