Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As the power industry is undergoing a huge structural reform, decentralized electricity market is expected to be established. We study how a participant with energy storage affects the efficiency of this emerging market by the method of multi-agent simulation. The main result is that the market with energy storage attains a larger social surplus and a lesser total amount of transaction than one without, which is a consequence of the distinctive market structures.
