Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A novel dipole source localization method has been proposed by our group, which is based on a measurement of voltage waveforms by two fixed antennas. This method has been extended to accommodate multiple media in the space, and we have demonstrated that an electric dipole source's position and orientation can be successfully estimated by utilizing FDTD method. In this report, we first described the principle of our method. Next, we investigated the influence of such as averaging time, noise, bandwidth, and modeling error, to the accuracy of source localization. The numerical experiment showed that 7ns is required for averaging time and 25 dB or more is required for SNR with this measurement model. It has sensitive character to the modeling error, and wider bandwidth results into better localization.
